Rules
Who can participate?
Anyone studying in an educational institute can participate. Participants' age must be less than 25 years by the date of the competition (22/01/2022) - check out our exception to this rule in our FAQs. Employees of 99x and associated startups, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Team size
A team can have a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 members. However, every team must have an academic coach who will NOT participate in the competition, but advice and mentor the team. The coach must ensure the team is aware of the terms and conditions, and participates on the day of the competition.
What technologies should I know?
- Using Git to work collaboratively
- Node.js/Express for backend development
- JavaScript and EJS for frontend development
- NPM for building and serving
- Working with relational databases with SQL
Determining winners
Teams will be ranked by the number of points they earn by solving the given problems. The total points a team can maximum earn is 99. In the event where the score is a tie, you will be ranked by the time taken for the last commit. The faster you complete, the better your rank will be.
